This season, to get into the holiday spirit, a great idea is making holiday sweets! One of the few I like to make are reindeer cookies. These cookies are absolutely scrumptious and are the perfect chocolate-peanut butter combination. The combination of crunchy pretzel and soft cookie is fantastic and the cookies look festive enough to brighten the holiday season. These make a great present for anyone who loves peanut butter, and an even better dessert to serve at a holiday event. They would also make an excellent post-finals treat for when we finish off our year. I would recommend these to any person who loves such sweets, and I think anyone would enjoy them. Happy Holidays!

This specific recipe calls for:

• 3/4 cup peanut butter

• 1 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

• 1/2 cup shortening

• 3 tablespoons milk

• 1 tablespoon vanilla

• 1 egg
