Book Lover’s Day

This November 1st was the wonderful Book Lovers Day- an exciting occasion for any reader! Usually celebrated on August 9th, most people celebrated it on the first Saturday of November, which is when it is sometimes scheduled for. This holiday is the national day dedicated to all the people who love to read, and to appreciate books in general!

No one knows for sure the true creator or history of this holiday, but there is no denying that we all love it! This holiday is so important in the aspect that it reminds us to acknowledge the power of books and to encourage us to read more. Reading is so beneficial in the fact that it is fun and stimulating. It has been proven that reading helps us get smarter. Books can be informative on so many subjects, and are a true source of learning! Not to mention, books provide us with the happiness and relaxation of reading enticing stories- some of which are life-changing classics!

The best way to acknowledge this great holiday is by cozying up and reading a good book! Taking a trip to the library and finding the perfect spot where you could relax and read for the fun of it is the best you can possible do. You could appreciate this great day for books, by tutoring someone how to read, joining a book club or chatting with your bookworm friends about crazy scenes, or even contacting your favorite author! Anyway, if you spent this day reading a juicy novel, you fulfilled the whole concept of the holiday, and should be proud of yourself! If not, just take some other day and dedicate some time to reading. Who knows- you might like it so much you might decide to do it every day!
