Instagram is quickly becoming one of the most popular social media apps used today. So, we went around Marymount and interviewed various students, asking each of them about their Instagrams and selected our favorite photos!

What is your favorite editing app? Afterlight because you can adjust the brightness, you don’t have to choose a filter, and you can even make your own filter.

Do you use white borders? No, the new update allows horizontal and vertical photos, so white borders are no longer needed.

Do you like vertical or horizontal photos? Vertical photos because they fill the whole screen.

Do you post pictures of yourself or sceneries? A nice mix of both.

Are selfies worth posting? No, because people know what you look like and there is no point, unless it has a nice background.

How do you keep a good flow? Light or dark pics? I like to post light photos, such as photos that contain pastel colors.

What is your favorite editing app? A: I don’t use an editing app, but I do use some of the Instagram features, such as the light changing feature.

Do you use white borders? A: Yes, the photos on my phone do not fit into a perfect square.

Do you like vertical or horizontal photos? A: I don’t use the vertical and horizontal photos.

Do you post pictures of yourself or sceneries? A: No pictures of myself, but pictures of my dog and art, including ink and pen drawings.

Are selfies worth posting? A: I don’t post selfies, but I think it is fine if others do.

How do you keep a good flow? Light or dark pics? A: I like posting light pictures, but I don’t really care about the flow, I just post my favorite photos.

Do you post pictures of yourself or sceneries? I post lots of pictures with friends, but I’m getting into doing more sceneries.

Are selfies worth posting? Yes, since they are on private accounts and depending on the day.

How do you keep a good flow? Light or dark pics? By asking friends with better flows than I do (Hana and Bella).

Favorite account to follow? Not Beyoncé because she doesn’t post enough, but I like @Blackjaguarwhitetiger

How do you keep a good flow? Light or dark pics? I keep a good flow by not just posting a picture of people and then another picture of people, but posting pictures of other things in between.
