The producer who brought you Glee and American Horror story now brings you the next, new “hit” tv show: Scream Queens. I was excited for its premier on September 22, 2015, but unfortunately it killed my hopes for a favorite fall show. My expectations were fairly high because of the amount of over-advertisement; almost every commercial I saw during the month was about Scream Queens. They even created a Snapchat geotag for the show! Sadly, even Nick Jonas’s biceps couldn’t save the episode; it was doomed from the start. In the commercials, the creators portrayed the show as a horror series, yet the red devil didn’t even scare my six-year-old cousin. Well, it’s technically listed under comedy; I admit that there were few funny jokes, but nothing outstanding. They tried to make a mixture between horror and comedy, but it just became plain boring.

In addition to its vapid storyline, they also killed off way too many people in the first episode! It’s like, how are you going to have a television series with a plot if the whole cast is killed? I thought that was idiotic of them to do that, especially because (spoiler alert) they killed off one of the most famous actors on their show. That actor was probably partially why most people tuned in to see the first episode. Bye bye to the thousands of dollars that Fox invested in the show!
