The Anchor is so excited to welcome the Class of 2020! We started to get to know some of Marymount’s newest students in the best way we know how: here is the latest Humans of Marymount Los Angeles comprised entirely of the Freshman Class.

- “What does having an education mean to you?”
- NE “It means having power. Being strong and independent – Female.”
- MC “It means to be more confident and learn more about yourself and just gain more knowledge.”

- “What is your happy place?”
- “Outside, in my backyard there’s a swing hanging from a tree. I like to go there and listen to music and just look out at everything. It’s really nice and calm and you can listen to the birds and all that.”

- “What is one of your goals right now?”
- AE “To have better time management. I always procrastinate and end up doing things at the last minute and stress out.”
- PG “Mine would just be getting used to and adjusting to high school and Marymount and the new experiences coming my way.”

- “What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?”
- HB “Oh I don’t know, probably going on a roller coaster.”
- SH “The most daring thing I’ve ever done is probably trying out for a sport I definitely didn’t think I would be good in. I tried out for basketball, and it was my first year ever playing basketball, and I underestimated myself and ended up doing pretty well so.”
