Warped Tour 2016 has come and gone. Every year new stories are created and in my case, new pictures. This year it was my second year attending Warped Tour as a press photographer for The Anchor, but this year I went to the concert in Portland, Oregon. It was an amazing time and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Here are three things that I recommend for those looking to become involved in concert photography:

• Have a DSLR camera or security won’t let you into the pit.
• Look on band websites for the press information and application (some will have it and some wont)
• Send in the application or email the manger and wait.

Getting your hands on a press pass may seem difficult, especially for young people, but all you have to do is become aware of opportunities and not shy away from the experience!
