Fall back and relax

Fall: the start of a new school year. It is a time for old friends, new friends, and unfortunately, new things to get stressed out about. With all of these activities to juggle, it’s easy to get too caught up it in all of it and forget to unwind. Here are some tips to get relaxed in the gorgeous autumn season.

Get Active  – Fall weather is beautiful and makes for the perfect excuse to step outside. Hiking, yoga, or even taking your dog for a walk can clear your mind. Stepping away from whatever is stressing you out can be a great opportunity to calm down. Even working out can get you in the right state of mind.

Get Peaceful – If staying indoors seems more relaxing, then tranquil music may work for you. Make a playlist on your computer of quiet music that isn’t too sad to listen to on study breaks. To take a break from studying, try dimming the lights and taking deep breaths to calm down.

Get Pampered  – Every girl loves to feel great about herself, so why not make that part of your relaxation routine? Putting on a facial mask or painting your nails takes time so you can spend that time away from whatever is freaking you out. Not only will you have relaxed, but you will also feel more confident in trying to finish what you started.

Get Distracted – Sometimes all you can think about is whatever is making you stressed out. If this is a problem for you, maybe getting distracted is a great way for you to relax. Watching a movie, TV show, or even reading a book is a great option. Make sure to watch something light or happy to brighten your mood!
