This year starting on March 14th, the 78th NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament will take place on several college campuses throughout the United States. 68 teams from across the country will be competing in this single-elimination tournament. Although it is undecided which teams will be playing against one other, viewers will know as soon as Selection Sunday comes around on March 12th. On Selection Sunday, 32 Division I teams will receive automatic bids to compete, and then 36 other teams will be invited to play.

Although March Madness has not officially begun, men’s college basketball fans already have their predictions as to who the winner will be based on the teams’ statistics and performance in the regular season. Although the Villanova Wildcats defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels in last year’s championship, the Kansas Jayhawks are currently projected to be in the Number 1 Seed position. Viewers will just have to wait until the exciting First Round begins in less than 2 weeks, so get your brackets ready for this exciting event!
