Have you been wondering what has been going on with the Arts at Marymount lately? Well, here’s an exciting update! The end of September marks the end of the first month of school, and CAP has already sprung into action! Most recently, CAP played an eventful role in Marymount’s first school mass of the year. During mass, we were able to see a wonderful joint performance by CAP dance, choir, and orchestra, all featuring amazing harmony, instrumentals and vocals. Additionally, the rehearsals for the fall play have begun! The Marymount players are hard at work on the Shakespearean comedy, “As You Like It.” The play centers around two cousins, Celia and Rosalind, and their fathers’ disagreement, which makes for a laughter-filled and entertaining show. The acting and production rehearsals are in process, and the play is looking good! I am so excited to see how the play turns out as well as what other events CAP has in store for us as the year progresses!
