Get ready for the movies coming to you in 2025! There are many exciting sequels, live-action, and fresh new movies. Waiting patiently is hard when you’re left on a cliffhanger, but not to worry– 2025 is here to deliver. Here are some sequels releasing very soon! Last summer’s hit, Wicked, is coming out with a part 2. If you want to continue following Glinda and Elphaba’s journey, you should add this to your list of movies to watch! One movie we might not have expected is Zootopia 2. It’s almost been a decade since the first Zootopia was released, which is insane, to say the least. Avatar is the highest-grossing movie of all time, and Avatar 2 is the highest-grossing movie of 2022! So get ready because Avatar 3 is being released and there’s no doubt it’ll be popular as well. Do you enjoy horror movies? The Black Phone will have a new sequel in 2025 with all new suspense, terror, and more! 

Next, we have gotten a lot of live actions from Disney, and it doesn’t look like this is going to stop anytime soon because we have two more coming your way! Very soon, on March 21, the Snow White live-action will be released! Rachel Zegler– who starred in the newest Hunger Games movie and also in Westside story– plays Snow White. Another live-action is Lilo and Stitch! We’ve already seen a little teaser during the Superbowl with Stitch running across the field but we’re ready for the real thing. I bet we’ve all played Minecraft at least once in our childhood. Well, Minecraft is coming out with a movie casting Jack Black as the famous character, Steve. Be on the watch for that one if you want to relive your childhood through this new movie.

Lastly, there are also movies with brand new plots and characters releasing in 2025! The Monkey, based on Stephen’s 1980 short story, is about two brothers who find a wind-up monkey that tears their family apart. However, 25 years later, the monkey returns forcing the brothers to confront the toy. Disney’s coming out with a movie called Elio about a boy who finds himself being abducted by aliens and mistakenly identified as Earth’s ambassador. His journey around the galaxy is also his journey of finding who he is truly. For all the fans of F1, a new movie called F1 is releasing! It’s about a man who returns to his past by taking on F1’s top competition. All these movies sound very exciting so be sure to check them out.
