The new school year brings many new memories, traditions, and friends! As our year comes to a start there any many new faces joining the Marymount community. As we welcome the class of 2028 to our community, we also welcome new members of the faculty and staff!

Dr. Collins: Dr. Collins is one of the new members of the English department! She teaches Global Voices (English II), and AP Language & Composition. A fun fact about her is that she has run 6 marathons!
Dr. Bray-Kress: Dr. Bray-Kress is also of the new members of the English department! She teaches Intro to Literature (English I) and Global Voices (English II). A fun fact about her is that she is fluent in French and has taught both French and English courses!
Ms. Kim: Ms. Kim is the newest member of the science department! She teaches Chemistry and AP Environmental Science. A fun fact about her is that she has been a teacher for 37 years!
Ms. Snow: Ms. Snow is the newest edition to the social studies department. She teaches Honors US History, as well as, Early Global Studies. A fun fact about her is that she just moved to Los Angeles from Chicago in July!
Ms. Borges: Ms. Borges has previously taught in the religion department. This year she rejoins the Marymount community! She teaches 9th and 11th grade religion. A fun fact about her is that she loves to read mystery novels and trys to solve them!
Ms. Martino: Ms. Martino is the new learning specialist! A fun fact about her is that she lived in Rome for 3 years, and she is fluent in Italian! She even lived up the street from Marymount Rome!
Ms. S: Ms. S is the new guidance counselor! A fun fact about her is that she plays cornhole and hikes in her free time!
As the year commences the new students, faculty, and staff have become have become apart of Marymount’s rich history, amazing traditions, and fun memories. These new members bring fresh ideas and new voices that have helped deepen our Marymount community. We are all super excited to see what the rest of the year brings!
