Even more than winter, fall, or summer, spring has always been my favorite season. The flowers finally start blooming again, and the days get longer after months of early sunsets.
But if I’m being honest, that’s not the real reason I love spring.
The real reason is the holiday lineup: Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter all happen basically back-to-back. Each of these celebrations comes with its own unique limited-edition products that stick around for only a few weeks.
However, when heart-shaped foods and bright green drinks suddenly start appearing everywhere, it can get a little overwhelming…So, if you like trying new treats—or just spotting fun seasonal items— here is a guide to some of the best things to keep an eye out for this Spring.
Valentine’s Day:

Whether you’re shopping for a Galentine’s celebration, a special someone, or just treating yourself, Valentine’s Day is easily one of the best gift-giving seasons of the year.
One standout is Stanley’s Valentine’s collection. The brand’s popular tumblers are already everywhere, but the holiday editions feature pink-and-red designs decorated with hearts. The well-known 40-oz water bottle normally retails for about $40–$50, although limited colors often sell out quickly and sometimes resell online for much more.

If you want to match your drinkware with your outfit, brands like Converse release Valentine’s-themed versions of their classic Chuck Taylor sneakers. For anyone who prefers being cozy. brands like Ugg and Comfrt also release seasonal hoodies and slippers.
But, Valentine’s Day always guarantees one thing: good snacks. Love isn’t just in the air—it’s also on the plate.
If you’re like me and love chocolate, brands like Hershey’s releases a huge lineup of seasonal treats, including:
- Strawberry Creme chocolate hearts
- Pink Cookies & Creme hearts
- Chocolate-dipped strawberry chocolates
- Different versions of their famous Kisses, like Conversation Kisses with Valentine’s messages, meltaway roses, and strawberry flavors
- Valentine’s chocolate gift boxes
- And if you’re a peanut butter fan, Reese’s releases pink peanut butter hearts, which many argue are better than the actual cups.
If chocolate isn’t your thing, gummy fans still have plenty of options. Haribo releases seasonal candies like berry hearts, sweet-and-sour gummies, cherry mochi gummies, Twin Snakes, and even bags filled entirely with red gummy bears. Meanwhile, upscale candy company Sugarfina also has cute gift sets like the XOXO Bento Box and the Peanuts “Love Mail” candy collection.

But the most entertaining part of Valentine’s Day might be the random heart-shaped foods that suddenly appear everywhere. While researching for this article, I found:
- Heart-shaped waffles (and even heart-shaped waffle makers)
- Heart-shaped pasta
- Heart-shaped pizza
- Heart-shaped donuts
- Heart-shaped cereal
- Heart-shaped chocolate-covered fruit from Tru Fru
- And much more…
At this point, if you can imagine a snack, there’s probably a Valentine’s version of it.
St Patrick’s Day:

Unlike Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t have as many clothing drops—unless you count the endless green shirts with sayings like “Kiss Me, I’m Irish.” But what the holiday does have is food. A lot of it.
Candy brands like M&M’s release festive green-and-gold St. Patrick’s Day editions.

Breakfast also comes into play thanks to Lucky Charms. The colorful cereal, filled with marshmallow shapes like rainbows and clovers, becomes even more popular around the holiday—and the cereal somehow turns the milk green! Even ice cream shops like Cold Stone Creamery have joined the trend, offering a limited-edition Lucky Charms sundae with green ice cream, a green cone, and plenty of cereal on top.
Bakeries love St. Patrick’s Day as well. Krispy Kreme releases donuts decorated with green icing, shamrocks, and gold sprinkles. (Fun fact: they even give out free donuts to customers wearing green on the holiday.) Randy’s Donuts also has its own limited-time St. Patrick’s Day donut designs. Meanwhile, Crumbl typically releases an entire themed lineup for the week, often including their fan favorite Lucky Charms cookie.

But the true St. Patrick’s Day icon might be the Shamrock Shake from McDonald’s. The bright green mint milkshake returns every year for a limited time, and fans (including me) wait months for it to come back. The chain also offers a Shamrock McFlurry. Other seasonal drinks include the Sour Shamrock Slush from Sonic, while Costco releases special desserts like its Double Chocolate Mint Sundae.
Restaurants also celebrate with full meals. At Norms, for example, diners can order a four-course corned beef and cabbage meal for about $20.99, along with green lemonade, with part of the proceeds donated to charity.
After weeks of green drinks and shamrock-shaped desserts, St. Patrick’s Day eventually wraps up—but the seasonal treats don’t stop there.
Easter:

Just when the holiday ends and the green decorations disappear, store shelves quickly transform again—this time with pastel colors, chocolate eggs, and bunnies in many forms.
The real star of Easter is the candy itself. Peeps— famous marshmallow chicks—have become a full brand with clothing, plush toys, and countless flavors. A typical pack costs around $2–$4, making them one of the most recognizable Easter treats. Peeps has even surprised fans with unexpected collaborations, like teaming up with Bath & Body Works to create marshmallow-inspired candles and soaps based on the iconic candy.
Cookie lovers aren’t left out either. Oreo often releases limited-edition Easter Oreos with pastel-colored crème, fun seasonal packaging, or even bunnies and chicks printed right on the cookie. For anyone who likes baking at home, both Nestlé Toll House and Pillsbury sell pre-made Easter chocolate chip cookie dough filled with pastel candy pieces, perfect for making homemade treats that look as cute as they taste.

If you’re more of a donut person, Krispy Kreme releases a spring edition featuring colorful spring icing, bunny decorations, and chick-shaped treats
And finally, no Easter basket would be complete without classic chocolate from Hershey’s, including:
- The one and only chocolate bunny
- Polka-dot chocolate eggs
- Marshmallow-filled chocolate eggs

Spring holidays may only last a few weeks each, but they never leave us bored. Each one of these holidays brings a fresh lineup of things to try—whether it’s a cozy new hoodie, a bright green Shamrock Shake, or even Hot Tamale Peeps (yes, those exist!). No matter your taste, there is something for everyone this spring. Happy spring, happy shopping, and don’t wait too long—these limited-edition treats disappear fast!
