Places to go…

Abbot Kinney:

  • Butcher’s Daughter: a great mostly vegan restaurant, that has a cute vibe and even better food, located on Abbot Kinney.
  • Salt and Straw: A yummy ice cream place with unique flavors. Go out and try something new.
  • Cha Cha Matcha: a place dedicated to all things matcha. Insta-worthy photos and a great place to go and just hang out with your friends on a random summer day.

Melrose:

  • Reformation: a higher end clothing store, where you pick clothes out on an iPad and they appear in your dressing room.
  • Glossier: a makeup store with great products and an even better atmosphere. Fun to go to, take photos, try makeup out with friends and just have fun.
  • Alfred Melrose Place: a different place to get coffee, tea, and matcha soft serve.
  • Sunday Flea Market: a flea market right on Melrose, where you can find great Levi’s shorts, dainty jewelry and virtually everything under the sun.

Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach:

  • Gum Tree: a small boutique and cafe in Hermosa that has terrific gifts for birthdays, and great salads, sandwiches, avocado toast, and coffee.
  • The Baked Bear: an ice cream and ice cream sandwich place that is right on the Hermosa Pier where they make fresh cookies and ice cream for the sandwiches.
  • Hook & Plow: a farm-to-table restaurant with salads and fish with a beachy atmosphere.
  • Blvd: a clothing store in downtown Manhattan Beach. The girls that work there are the nicest people, and they can always help you find the best outfit.
  • Wahoos: amazing fish tacos at a restaurant that is the go-to spot when you are coming up from the beach.
