An amazing restaurant down in the South Bay, specifically Manhattan Beach, is Love & Salt! Love & Salt is an Italian restaurant located right by the Manhattan Beach Pier, and it has a wide range of Italian dishes; they serve salads, pasta, pizzas, and more, and they are all so delicious! They change their menu items frequently to keep up with the freshest and seasonal ingredients, another attribute that contributes to their success. A couple of my favorite items are listed below:

Shaved Fennel Salad: This salad is absolutely amazing! The fennel matches perfectly with the olive oil, lemon, parmesan, and black pepper, making it a simple yet cohesive dish!

Chopped Salad: Like their fennel salad, this one is more traditional, as it contains salami, provolone, red onion, chickpeas, and more! So delicious and the breadcrumb topping adds the perfect amount of crunch!

Sausage alla Vodka Pizza: This pizza is one of their newest additions, and it definitely does not disappoint! The vodka sauce matches perfectly with the sausage and the addition of pickled peppers adds a bit of tartness that ties the dish together.

Trottole Salsiccia Pasta: This pasta is one of my favorites! The tender sausage, along with parmesan cheese and bread crumbs allows for an outstanding combination of flavors that makes you want to keep going in for more.
