It’s Winter time, which means not only is it time to bundle up by the fire, but it’s time to address the ultimate question: Which lip balm is best for the Winter Season. While temperatures drop and air gets dry, so do our lips. From luxury to drug store products, I’ve tried it all and am proud to say, I have officially found some of the best and worst products.

  1. Glossier Balm dotcom – Glossier Balm dot com retails for about $12. This lip balm comes in a variety of different colors, scents, and tints. There is basically a scent for every season. You can never go wrong with purchasing this one.

  1. Smith’s Lip Balm– Smith’s Lip Balm prices range from 7-12 dollars. This lip balm is SO good. Similar to the formula Aquaphor has, but smaller. This lip balm is perfect for excessively chapped lips and is very easy to find.

  1. Rhode– $16- Hailey Bieber’s new “Rhode” skincare line has newly released their form of a lip balm. The Peptide Lip treatment is a little pricey for a singular lip balm, but it really doesn’t disappoint. On top of being a great lip balm, I feel that this can double as a lip gloss. This lip treatment’s consistency is the perfect thickness and allows for a long-lasting wear! The only downside this lip balm has is the fact that it is always sold out!

  1. Kopari– As a lip product with both Shea Butter and Coconut oil, this lip balm is known for hydrating and holding its moisture. Its price point is 14 dollars and super easily found at your local Sephora. There are a variety of 6 choices and the majority of them have the best coconut scent.

  1. Laneige– The Infamous Laneige lip balm ranges from a price point starting at 17 dollars. Similar to the others, the variety of scents and tints are amazing. The moisture this product has in specific will last hours. On top of moisturizing, this product includes a variety of Shea butters, keeping the original hydration locked in.

  1. Summer Fridays– $21 for a lip balm may be absurd, but if you’re wanting a more “boujee” product, this one takes the cake. This lip balm comes in 4 different colors with tints from clear to brown to red. Each lip balm has a new, unique scent and is extremely hydrating.

  1.  Aquaphor– A true classic if there ever was one. Aquaphor never misses. This product is not only great for your lips, it is safe to put on your skin if you are dry in other areas. As an unscented and translucent product, Aquaphor looks great directly on your lips or even over a layer of lip liner. Aquaphor does a great job of hydration and has never failed.

Overall, you can not go wrong with any of these lip balm products. Although some are more pricey than others, they all do the ultimate job of moisturizing your chapped lips this holiday season!
