The latest addition to the social networking platform is Threads. Threads is a social networking and media app where users chat with one another, post images, videos, and text. Threads and Twitter/X are both very similar as both apps offer a huge site that allows users to repost, reply, and direct messaging between users. Additionally, both apps have extremely similar setups, and the explore feed looks practically the same. While both the apps are very similar, they also have key differences that set them apart. One difference is the length of posts. Twitter/X has a 280-character limit per post, while Threads allows for a 500-character limit per post. Additionally, Twitter/X uses hashtags frequently, while there is no use of hashtags on Threads. Lastly, Threads is connected to Instagram, while Twitter/X is an independent app.
