AP Art History Memorial Project

Noel Ermer '19, Sr. Photo Editor

This semester, the AP Art History class was asked to write an essay comparing and contrasting two pieces of art that both depict George Washington and that argues how effective each piece is. To accompany this essay, the students were tasked with creating a memorial art exhibit to either George Washington, Barack Obama, or Donald Trump. These pieces were created with the intention of illustrating what each student believes their chosen president will be remembered for, leading to some positive, some negative, and even some humorous portrayals of the presidencies.
