Remember those adorable Hollister sweaters with the lacy tank tops underneath? How about those stunning Isabel Marant sneakers? Well, guess what, they’re back in style! Both of these fashionable pieces are just a few examples of the many fashion trends coming back in style. As we get older, we get to witness all the cute fads coming back in style, but also some of the awful ones, like skinny jeans. Yuck! Luckily, I think all the recent fashion trends resurfacing have been pretty gorgeous. Some of the most notable ones include the 2016 Boho-chic style and the 2000s Hollister style.

2016 Boho-Chic:
Coming back in style, 2016 Boho-Chic resurfaced in April during Coachella this year. The photo depicted on the left shows the viral image that blew up on social media, proving that 2016 is once again back in style. The girl is seen wearing a fringe bag, lacy-white shorts, a studded tank top, and a choker. The photo on the right is of Isabel Marant sneakers, the ones that you may have seen slowly creeping back into style. Other fashion articles that belong to the 2016 Boho-chic include fringe boots, chunky pieces of jewelry, studded denim, flower headbands, and statement belts.

2000s Hollister:
If I had to describe 2000s Hollister as a couple people, it would be Elena Gilbert and Susan Mayer. The one common thing between these tv-show characters besides their sense of style is that their shows, Vampire Diaries and Desperate Housewives, were both filmed in the 2000s. This style has been popular in the past few years; however it’s currently at its peak right now, especially since Hollister brought back its 2000s line. Now you no longer have to scour Depop and settle for an overpriced pair of low rise jean shorts from a reseller. You can just head over to Hollister. This accessibility has really contributed to the revival of 2000s Hollister. Of course the 2000s Hollister style mainly includes fashion articles from Hollister, but the style also includes other brands like Abercrombie and Fitch, as well as True Religion and Miss Me. If you’d like to start wearing the 2000s Hollister style, I’d recommend buying v-neck sweaters and lace tank tops, and especially to layer underneath. Additionally I would recommend low rise denim pieces, slim-fit sweat sets, gold hoop earrings, babydoll sweaters and shirts, tall brown UGGS, and zig-zag headbands.

All in all, these fashion trends’ current popularity ultimately proves that fashion trends always come back. I would propose that we save our current clothing for our future kids and maybe even our own siblings because we never know when a trend will resurface. Then they won’t have to spend all their money on recurring trends, like we have.
