Restaurant Review: The Butcher’s Daughter

The Butcher’s Daughter is a vegetarian restaurant, originating from New York, which recently opened an LA branch along the trendy Abbot Kinney in late January. It specializes in meals cooked with fresh produce, giving its food an incredibly fresh and healthy taste. The restaurant also offers an incredible selection of cold juices and coffee to choose from.

I visited The Butcher’s Daughter for the first time for brunch. I was immediately impressed by the range of meals offered on the menu; they served everything from Açai bowls to Breakfast Pizza. I ordered the avocado toast benedict served with hashbrowns, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also ordered a breakfast pizza cooked with tomato sauce, new potatoes, and vegan cheese, which was also remarkably delicious and unlike any pizza I have ever had.

For me, the atmosphere of the restaurant proved its most noteworthy aspect. Some components of the atmosphere include a 50-foot communal dining and espresso bar, friendly, hip waiters, and industrial decor elements paired with earthy greenery and wood. The interior design was stunning and I recommend sitting on the patio to fully appreciate the location of the restaurant on the coolest street in Los Angeles.
