Life

her junior year. Although a new university, Gottlieb did not see fit and once again transferred to UCLA to graduate where she achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Painting and Art History. From there she finished her education at the School of Visual Arts in New York with a major in Graphic Design.

Art and its livelihood had completely immersed Gottlieb from the start, sparking imaginative pieces and a new form of expression. As soon as she was out of college, Jane Gottlieb began her work. At first, she would photograph landscapes and paint them with vivid and influential colors. However, as technology advanced, she has now resorted to tools such as Photoshop in order to render the images into unimaginable realities. Modernized technology has enabled Gottlieb to print and showcase her works all over the world, which have become a massive success. Gottlieb works full-time as a full-time art photographer and continues to produce her eye-catching works in Santa Barbara, California, where a multitude of her art has been put on display.

Additionally, Gottlieb has transformed her home in Santa Barbara into an eccentric blast of color, where color blocking consumes every nook and cranny. Her home, which was originally brown and beige, has seemingly been brought back to life with refreshing and idiosyncratic colors. As of now, Gottlieb continues to pursue her art, bringing new perspectives to regular photographs and unhinging the normalcies of landscape photography.
