The fictional town of Stars Hollow during Fall in the television series “Gilmore Girls.”

It’s that time of year again: FALL!!! Fall is such a distinct and nostalgic season as we start preparing for the upcoming holidays. Although we do not see much of an actual change of seasons here in Los Angeles, I try to make the most out of it. With that being said, let me share some of my most favorite “Fall Festivities” ranging from TV shows and movies, baked goods, and music!

There are so many TV shows and movies that I associate with Fall… especially Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls is the most perfect show to watch during the Fall season. Whether you are on Team Dean, Team Jess, Team Logan, OR even Team Tristan, you can always imagine yourself in the charming town of Stars Hollow drinking a warm cup of coffee at Luke’s Diner. If you are looking for a Fall rom-com, I’ve got you covered! One of my favorite movies of all time is When Harry Met Sally... It follows the journey of a man (Harry) and a woman (Sally) who have random encounters over the course of twelve years. Their opposition towards each other turns into a friendship and eventually more. I highly recommend it for those that love a feel-good movie. If you’re interested in Halloween movies, I recommend Scream, Hocus Pocus, Practical Magic, Edward Scissorhands, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Beetlejuice.

For all my bakers, here are some ideas to share with your friends at school or family! Do not be afraid to try new recipes such as pumpkin bread, caramel apples, or apple crisps. Also, try baking pumpkin/apple/pecan pie, pumpkin cheesecake, and cinnamon rolls. There are endless recipes out there, so go ahead and bake your heart out!

Delicious pumpkin bread!

You can never go wrong with music because everyone associates certain songs with events or seasons in their life. Most notably for me, Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) album is the most festive for Fall you can get! The entire album is full of references to Fall weather and items of clothing – it perfectly fits the Fall vibe. Swift said that the album “was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end.” As a huge Swiftie myself, Red (Taylor’s Version) serves as a proud reminder of Taylor’s achievements and re-recording process for her albums.

Thank you all for tuning into my recommendations for “Fall Festivities!” Don’t forget to make some great memories this Fall.
