Activities To Do Over Spring Break

Activities To Do Over Spring Break

Whether you are staying home or traveling for spring break, 2 weeks is often a lot of time that we don’t necessarily know how to fill. This article will provide you with an array of activities you can do over spring break to stimulate both your body and mind!

  • Go on a picnic: Going on a picnic with your family or friends is a great way to spend time in nature and experience positive interactions with those around you. You can choose to set up your picnic at the beach, the park, or even in your backyard! All you need is your favorite foods, a blanket, and your loved ones to get out of the house and spend time outdoors this break!

  • Go to a museum: We are incredibly fortunate to live in the Los Angeles area, as there are a vast array of museums to choose to visit over spring break! Taking some time to appreciate art can stimulate your creativity and provide you with both an activity and a period of relaxation that is the perfect thing to experience over spring break!
  • Have a board game marathon: As opposed to a movie marathon where you are stuck on the screen all day, playing board games can be a great activity for you during spring break! Some game recommendations: Monopoly, Clue, Spot It, Uno, Spoons, BS, and many more!
  • Go on bike rides: Going for a bike ride to get lunch, go to a friend’s house, or simply just for exercise is a great way to pass the time when you have nothing else to do! It’s also a great way to reduce carbon emissions by not taking your car places!

  • Have a sleepover: Having a sleepover over spring break with some of your best friends can be a great way to both socialize and spend time relaxing! Whether you choose to have a low-key sleepover and just do leisurely activities or have an energetic sleepover full of games and activities, you are bound to have a great time!
  • Complete a DIY Project: There are numerous DIY project ideas all over the internet just waiting to be discovered! Over spring break, doing a DIY project can help stimulate your brain while you end up gaining a new craft out of it!
  • Have a Home Spa Day: School can be incredibly stressful, and spring break is a great time to release that stress and take some time to relax! Treat yourself to a face mask, a nice bubble bath, and even paint your nails to ease some stress and wind down!
  • Go Camping: Whether you drive and go camping or even camp out in your backyard, being under the stars and in the weather is a great way to feel as if you are one with nature and truly relaxed.
