Marymount’s annual activities fair was a success and full of energy, excitement, and curiosity! It gave students the perfect opportunity to explore the wide variety of clubs available this year.

As soon as you walked into the fair, it was clear that there was something for everyone, whether your interests were academic, athletic, creative, or community-focused. The Sports Medicine Club drew students eager to learn about injuries and recovery, while nearby, the Environmental Club shared ideas for sustainability, from recycling initiatives to community clean-up events, inspiring students to think about how they can make a difference for the planet right from school.

The fair also showcased clubs dedicated to culture and social support. One club, created to support the Pali community, offers a space for students to connect, share experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions about identity and resilience after the challenging wildfires this past January. Other social awareness clubs, like OASIS, highlighted important issues such as drug awareness and prevention, providing fidget toys to those who correctly answered trivia questions! For those drawn to creativity and design, the Architecture and Design Club is there for you! There is also a Surf Club, which adds a completely different vibe, committed to sharing stories, tips, and even a bit of the laid-back surf lifestyle, reminding students that clubs aren’t just about academics; they’re also about fun experiences. Bake for Change offers a fun way to use your baking skills and even has opportunities to bake for firefighters, like we did last year!

Beyond these, the fair included dozens of other amazing opportunities and clubs, from academic enrichment and leadership programs to hobby-based clubs and volunteer organizations. Students wandered from table to table, asking questions, signing up for newsletters, and discovering new passions they might not have considered before. What made the fair so special was not just the range of clubs but the energy and enthusiasm that filled senior lawn: students explaining their clubs with pride, laughter spilling from tables, and a shared sense that there’s a place for everyone here at Marymount!
