Mr. Baker’s Wedding

Congratulations are most definitely in order for Marymount’s favorite United States History teacher, Mr. Baker, who got married last August. Mr. Baker had his wedding in Ojai, California, surprisingly not far from the Junior Retreat center. Of course, the entire history department was present, and Marymount’s very own Dr. Lynch read the wedding vows, uniting Mr. Baker and Mrs. Baker as husband and wife.

The wedding perfectly represented Mr. Baker’s outgoing, fun, and lively personality. Instead of being traditional and waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle until they saw other, the couple decided to take pictures of their reactions to seeing the other all dressed up. Also, Mr. Baker and Mrs. Baker performed a very upbeat, choreographed dance at the reception. The dance was composed of very traditional and classical songs like “The Motto” and “Timber.” Mr. Baker showed the video of his dance to the basketball team; therefore, of course, the entire school found out about it and has now watched the video multiple times. Anyway, congratulations Mr. Baker! All of your students and the entire Marymount community are so happy for you!
