Juniors dressed to impress

Winter Formal was a night of sophisticated fashion; everyone looked red carpet ready.  While most men wore the standard dark suit, there were a few who opted for a more casual look, sporting Hawaiian shirts.  The women, on the other hand, were all dressed to the 9’s, showing off their great sense of fashion and personal style.

The timeless little black and little white dresses were quite popular and dominated in number over colored dresses. Those who did choose to wear color, opted for bold colors of red, bright-yellow, blue, and maroon rather than muted pastels. Dress styles included A-line, fit and flare, sheath, empire waist, and a 70’s style shift. Many were embellished with lace or sequins, while others were simple but still elegant.  Some girls chose to wear strapless, sleeveless, or low backed dresses while others preferred a more demure look, wearing dresses with short or long sleeves. However, despite the variations, one thing that all the dresses had in common was their cocktail dress length. While the unconventional male sported a Hawaiian shirt, the unconventional female donned a romper.  Who would have ever thought that a romper would be worn to a formal?  Now, formal rompers are the latest fashion; those who wore them looked stylish and sleek. In addition, they are practical and were great to bowl in. Women completed their looks with jewelry that was simple yet elegant, shoes that ranged from flats to 5 inch heels, nails painted in all colors, and hair worn in various ways. Everyone looked classy and rocked their style. It was a memorable night, with memorable fashion, and memorable fun.
