A Look Into LACMA

I had heard amazing things about this museum so I figured, why not check it out? I first saw the Urban Lights filled with people swarming in and out of the poles. They were simple light lamps, but they looked prettier than I’d expected. Beyond the lights were some carolers; they sang Christmas music that echoed throughout the museum.

I also visited the Broad Contemporary Art building that featured works from Noah Purifoy and other upcoming artists. I recommend visiting the new Rain Room inside the Broad and Jesús Rafael Soto’s “Penetrable.” Both are interactive pieces of art that are fun for all ages!

Overall, the LACMA is a great place to visit, especially over break.
