There are 18 girls on Marymount’s two Junior Varsity teams this year. According to the freshmen who have had the privilege of joining these teams, playing volleyball is a great way to meet upperclassmen. From the beginning to the end of every practice, the age barriers disappear, and the players all work together to do their best as a whole. These girls have been working diligently since August, and have been practicing every day after school from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Their perseverance has definitely begun to pay off! So far, JV-A has won all but one game, and JV-B is undefeated!! If you see a volleyball player today, make sure to congratulate her; she deserves it! Both teams seem to be off to a great start.
