“Because you only have one high school experience and should spend a fun night with your friends” (Anonymous Junior). If you are on the fence about attending prom, here are some things to consider:

1. You only get to experience prom during high school! You don’t want to look back on prom night and remember yourself at home alone. Take the chance while you still have it.
2. It’s fun to dress up. You get the opportunity to glam it up with hair, makeup, and nails. You can definitely make a statement with a dramatic dress and pair of shoes. Think of prom like a smaller version of the Met gala!
3. Photos, selfies, and photobombs. What is prom if you don’t Instagram it? Nothing. Capture the look that you are rocking and share the great moments with your friends.

If you can… GO TO PROM. Whether you grab a date or go with friends – it doesn’t matter. This opportunity only knocks once (or twice, if you’re a junior) in a lifetime. So juniors and seniors, get pumped for Prom 2016!
