Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle create Let It Snow, a book of three holiday romances filled with joy, humor, and all types of romantic Christmas miracles. The book takes place on Christmas Eve in Gracetown, North Carolina. The city suffers from a great snowstorm that buries all the inhabitants in several feet of snow and leaves everyone in frenzy.

Maureen Johnson writes the first part of the book called “The Jubilee Express.” Virginia girl, Jubilee Dougal finds herself stuck on a train while on her way to Florida. Her courageous self drives her to walk through the bitter wind and piled-up snow to reach the nearby Waffle House. There, she meets the strange, yet compelling Stuart Weintraub. The acquaintances create their own different, yet cliché story, beginning with the cold and wet wrath of Mother Nature while taking a hazardous shortcut.

John Green writes “A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle” as the second part of Let It Snow. Tobin, the Duke (aka Angie), and JP are three best friends spending their Christmas Eve watching James Bond movies. That was until Don-Keun, a Waffle House employee and a friend of theirs, calls them and rushes his friends to the restaurant to share the night with his friends before his co-workers’ friends come and ruin his day. The trio race against twin brothers and college guys to get to the Waffle House first. This intense competition not only has them finally out of the house, but also allows two best friends to discover a little something more on a special Christmas morning.

Lauren Myracle writes the final part of the book called “The Patron Saint of Pigs.” Brokenhearted Addie is a Starbucks barista who is spending her Christmas being depressed over her recent breakup. Her self-absorbed personality leads to problems between her ex-boyfriend, Jeb, and her two best friends, Tegan and Dorrie. On the day after Christmas, Addie is meant to pick up a certain teacup pig from the pet store across the street from Starbucks. However, a few complications get in her way and a quick pick up turns into a search for a missing teacup pig. While on her quest, an old friend helps Addie learn more about herself and that there is truly some kind of Christmas miracle in our lives.

Johnson, Green, and Myracle introduce a new take on teen fiction romance novels while adding the sense of adventure. These three interlocking stories written by these three amazing teen fiction authors will have readers laughing and on the edge of their seat. Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances is a great book to get Christmas spirits up and a good read for the romantic, teen fiction hearts in the world.
