Need a funny new comedy to add to your list of shows? Justin Spritzer, the producer of the hit show, The Office, leaves behind the hilarious happenings of a paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania for the entertaining world of retail in Superstore. Amy, played by America Ferrera, stands out as the only voice of reason in a megastore called Cloud 9. The hilarious staff includes an overly committed and religious middle-aged manager, an airheaded pregnant teen employee, and an aggressive assistant manager. The complicated and hilarious relationships within Cloud 9 make for a fun Monday night comedy to start the week off right.

Reviews of Superstore have been mixed: some feel that NBC played it too safe by creating relationships all too common in the comedy world. However, I feel differently. Every Monday night at 8 o’clock, I grab some chips, sit back on my couch, and watch Superstore. I enjoy the dysfunctional family Spritzer creates through his characters as well as their complex yet silly personalities. With eleven episodes aired so far, the show still feels fresh and funny, allowing viewers to start watching at anytime. Although the verdict remains out on whether or not the show is a commercial success, I know that I will definitely continue watching.
