Barton G., located in West Hollywood, is the quirkiest restaurant you will ever go to. From popcorn shrimp served in a real popcorn maker, to a super-sized fork accompanying their steaks, you will never be bored at this restaurant. Barton G. Weiss first opened Barton G. The Restaurant in South Beach, Miami in 2002. Due to his success there, Barton G. felt LA was dramatic enough for the restaurant and opened a second in Los Angeles ten years later.

Each exciting meal is a complete experience. The pink back-lighting illuminates the array of exciting foods, each of which are an event in themselves. Their “Bucket of Bones”, an appetizer served in a bucket with all different types of finger food meats, and the “Strike Out Sliders” which are displayed alongside a baseball bat, glove, and ball, are just the beginning of this culinary adventure. As for main courses, Barton’s “Mouse Trap Mac ‘n Cheese” is served in a realistic mousetrap shaped dish, and the “Samurai Tuna” is plated under two enormous samurai swords with a large fake tuna fish to bring a thrilling twist to your entrée.  Their famous desserts of plant-pot-looking mud pies and the cotton candy sculpture of Marie Antoinette’s Head – “Let Them Eat Cake”, finish off your meal with a bang.

This restaurant is a culinary circus and is open for business Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 to 11:00 and Friday and Saturday from 6:00 to midnight. The whimsical restaurant brings a crazy twist to your otherwise regular dinner.
